Call for Abstracts
The Committee of the 64th Annual Meeting of the JSN encourages abstract submission widely from overseas. All the abstracts submitted are rated and selected for presentation by the Committee.
The abstract is only submitted by online. The submission of abstracts by e-mail will NOT be considered. The abstract should be written in English.

Regular Submission
The deadline for regular submission is scheduled at 2:00 p.m. JST on Jan. 29 (Fri), 2021.
Please select preferred presentation style, Oral or Poster, when you submit an abstract.
However, please note that the presentation style will be decided by the congress chairperson.
Please be aware that encore abstracts will NOT be accepted.
Depending on the COVID-19 conditions, we might have to give up onsite presentation and ask you to prepare for online digital poster presentation.
In case of online presentations, we will ask you to register the presentation slides data by following the instructions below.
→Considering the circumstances, instead of onsite poster presentations, this year’s poster presentations will be online digital poster presentation.
Our plan in case of online presentation was to share the presentation slides data in PDF file format with No sound. But our new plan is to share the presentation videos with audio (within 3minutes).

【Best Abstract Awards】
All the abstracts submitted are rated by the Abstract Review Committee and the Committee honors high scored abstracts with Best abstract awards.
The awardees are to present their research in English both as Oral presentations and Posters. Their posters will be posted as plenary posters for 3 days during the meeting period.
The secretariat office will contact the awardees with the details.
■Call for Late Breaking Abstracts
The JSN 2021 offers a call for late breaking abstract submissions as an opportunity to share researches that are completed after the regular submission deadline and the latest research results.
- (1) Abstracts and presentation (Oral and Poster) must be made in English. Their posters will be posted as plenary posters for 3 days during the meeting period.
- (2) Submission period: Mar. 15 (Mon) – at 2:00p.m. JSN on Mar. 29 (Mon)
- (3) Fill out the application form, E-mail to congress secretariat below.
★E-mail：jsn64@umin.ac.jp - (4) The abstracts submitted as regular submission will not be accepted.
- (5) As for the abstracts accepted as Late Breaking Abstracts, only titles, authors, affiliations will be shown on the digital abstract books and program books. The abstract body will not be published.
- (6) The abstracts that are not applicable for the purpose of the session will be rejected.
- * Application Review Considerations
All abstracts will be reviewed in the same manner. Abstract acceptance is determined by the Congress Chairperson 2021, based on the reviews from the Abstract Review Committee commissioned by the Congress Chairperson. Please note that the congress will not offer the authors of regular submission any grants. The accepted authors are requested to bear all expenses to attend the congress such as their transportation, accommodation and registration.

3. COI disclosure
You are requested to show whether there is any conflicts of interest on medical researches and publications by clicking a check box when your abstract submission.

4. Password
To create your password is required. Password should be case-sensitive and must be between 6 and 8 character long. The password is necessary for you to view or modify your abstract.
For security reason, we cannot tell anyone's password. Please make sure to make a copy or back up of your password when submitting an abstract.
5. Receipt of Abstract / Notifying the result
Receipt of abstract will be automatically sent to the registered e-mail address. We strongly advise you to confirm the contents that you submit.
The result of review will be notified all candidates via e-mail. Please make sure to register accurate e-mail address.
6. Category of Regular Submission
We accept submission of English abstracts to regular session.
